I am a qualified chartered accountant working in practice at a local accountancy firm.

I have been a season ticket holder at Morecambe for over 20 years and I am passionate about the Football Club.I have served as a trustee of Shrimps Trust since the first AGM in 2007 fulfilling the role as treasurer. I have overseen the financial reporting providing the Trustees with monthly financial information, as well as preparing the statutory accounts for submission to the FCA.

I bring a wealth of experience in corporate reporting and I have been preparing financial statements which I believe are unrivalled by any other supporters trust in the country. With an audit background I am able to ensure that the trust runs professionally with good controls and compliance. 

In addition to maintaining the finances for the trust, I am actively involved in organising and running coach travel to away games on an entirely voluntary basis. I am also a key part of our social media team preparing emails and other social media posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.I am an active and hands on member of the Trust and invest many hours into the Morecambe FC cause which I would like to continue for another 2 year term.

If re-elected it will be my intention to continue to encourage the Trust to be open and engaging with all Shrimps fans from all corners of the globe, as well as continuing the strong communication channels between ourselves and the Club.While it is integral that we find ‘new blood’ for the board, the experience that I have will continue to be essential for the smooth running of the trust, as well as helping and developing the new board members who join us.I hope that my contribution to the trust so far has been beneficial and that the members will continue to value that through my reflection for 2021-2023
