Trustee Election 2019
The Shrimps Trust Annual General Meeting (AGM) is being planned for Thursday 25th July 2019 (subject to confirmation, depending on pre-season friendly fixtures).
At the AGM, five of the current Trustees will be standing down.
Therefore, nominations are now being accepted for a maximum of eight Trustee positions to run for the 2019-20 season, beginning on the date of the AGM.
If you’re interested in standing as a Trustee, you can now download the Trustee nomination forms, together with copies of the Trust’s Election Policy, the Trust’s Board Membership and Conduct Policy, and the Election Timetable 2019 from the Trust’s website www.shrimpstrust.co.uk under the heading “About the Trust” and then “Election 2019”.
If you cannot download and print the forms, you can either email us at shrimpstrustelection@gmail.com and we will post the document out to you, or you can pick them up in person at the Globe Arena Reception.
You’ll need to be a signed-up 2018-19 Shrimps Trust member, and you’ll need two other 2018-19 Shrimps Trust members to propose and second you. Completed trustee nomination forms need to be returned by post or handed into the Election Chairman by Friday 28th June 2019, so you’ve got 4 weeks to get your nomination in.
We welcome nominations from all genders and all ages (provided you’re over 16!) so join in and help to make a difference with the Shrimps Trust – we’re all stronger together.
